The Blushing Bakeshop has had a successful year creating gorgeous and delicious gourmet cupcakes, and now is introducing, in addition to our line of simply divine cupcakes, those extra little touches to help everyone add a little haute couture to their own creations.   We are also offering a unique line of gifts and very special baking products.

Each of our cupcakes promises to be a feast to the palate, light, velvety and smooth, a subtle, yet rich symphony of flavors not likely to be forgotten!

How did The Blushing Bakeshop come to be?
The Blushing Bakeshop started in Washingtion DC when a local jewelry store began using cupcakes and diamonds in their photo shoots.  In order to show a pastry chef how they wanted the cupcakes to look, they baked her own and decorated them the way they envisioned the cakes to look.  After months of tweaking the look of the cupcakes, the ads were created and placed. The response was extraordinary.  They enjoyed baking the cupcakes so much that they decided to bake more and start a new hobby.  This hobby eventually became such a huge success that they decided to share their passion for cupcakes with everyone.
